Enota reševalnih psov KD Ljubljana letos organizira že 43. tečaj za usposabljanje vodnikov in psov za delo v zimskih razmerah, ki bo potekal od 16. do 20. marca 2016 na deloviščih na Vršiču.
Program dela:
– osnove šolanja reševalnega psa – vadba psa in vodnika pri iskanju »ponesrečenca« v snegu,
– osnove samozaščite vodnika in psa pri delu v zimskih razmerah (praktična uporaba znanj po programih za vodnike reševalnih psov),
– poznavanje nevarnosti v gorah s poudarkom na zimskih razmerah
Pogoji za udeležbo:
Tečaja se lahko udeležijo polnoletne vodnice in vodniki s psi, ki imajo opravljen vsaj osnovni tečaj poslušnosti in so člani enote reševalnih psov.
Ostri in agresivni psi za reševalno delo niso primerni.
Goneče in skotne psice na tečaju ne morejo sodelovati.
Namestitev in oskrba tečajnikov:
Vodnice-vodniki bodo nameščeni v ogrevanih sobah Koče na Gozdu (Vršič). Psi bodo čez dan z vodnicami-vodniki na deloviščih (ne pozabi na primerno podlogo – armafleks in nagrado za psa), popoldan oz. zvečer in ponoči pa v vozilih svojih vodnikov, na parkirišču pred kočo.
Hrano za pse prinesite s seboj!
Vodnice-vodniki so dolžni poskrbeti, da bodo psi v bližini koče in na cesti na povodcu!
Prijava, oskrbni stroški:
Vodnice-vodniki se pisno prijavijo organizatorju najpozneje do 1. marca 2015
Oskrbne stroške, ki znašajo 115 EUR za člane ERPS oz. 165 EUR za nečlane – samo v gotovini – vsak posameznik poravna pri organizatorju.
NOVO: Letošnji tečaj bo potekal v vsakem primeru. V kolikor nam vremenske razmere ne bodo naklonjene in snega ne bo, bomo tečaj izkoristili za trening iskanja pogrešanih v naravi.
Odjava zaradi višje sile je možna, zaradi opravičljivih razlogov, vendar najmanj 4 dni pred začetkom tečaja (do 12.3.2015). Po tem roku je prijavljenec v primeru neudeležbe, dolžan poravnati sorazmerni del organizacijskih stroškov (40 EUR).

43rd training course for dogs and dog handlers for work in winter conditions – applications are open!
This year, the SAR unit KD Ljubljana is organizing what is already the 43rd training course for dogs and dog handlers for work in winter conditions, which will take place from the 16th to the 20th of March 2015 on worksites at Vršič.
Work program:
– basic rescue dog training – training the dog and the handler at finding ˝the victim˝ in the snow
– the basics of self-protection of the handler and the dog when working in winter conditions (practical use of knowledge based on programs for rescue dog handlers)
– awareness of the dangers in the mountains, with emphasis on winter conditions
Conditions for participation:
The course may be attended by adult (over 18) handlers with dogs who have passed at least the basic obedience course and are members of a dog rescue unit.
Harsh and aggressive dogs are not suitable for rescue work.
Bitches who are in heat or pregnant cannot participate in the course.
Accommodation and care of the participants:
The handlers will reside in heated rooms at Koča na Gozdu (Vršič). During the day, the dogs will be with their handlers at the worksites (do not forget the appropriate padding and a reward for the dog). In the evenings and at nights they will be in their handler’s vehicles at the parking lot in front of the cabin.
Bring the food for dogs with you!
The handlers have to make sure that their dogs are on a leash when near the cabin or on the road!
Application, supply costs:
The handlers sign up to the organizer no later than the 1st of March.
The supply costs, which are 115 EUR for members of the ERPS or 165 EUR for non-members, are paid to the organizer – cash only – by each participant upon the arrival at the course.
Cancellation due to excusable reasons is possible until 4 days prior to the beginning of the course (12. 3. 2016). After this period, the participant, in the case of nonattendance, will have to pay a proportionate share of the organizational costs (40 EUR).
